Second week of holiday

 So glad I live in a place I can enjoy both the beach & the mountains. A car ride between these places take only an hour. Me encanta vivir tan cerca de la playa y de la montaña, y es que entre los lugares hay una hora en coche.

First week of holiday

Just want to show you a few pics of my first week of holidays which went way TOO fast.  Plus, it's been fun to edit the photos, I love playing with the effects. Definitely this blog's design is a thing I want to work about this summer. Aquí tenéis unas pocas imágenes de mi primera semana de vacaciones, que se ha pasado VOLANDO. Summertime is here again  & one more time I have to show my love for my favorite summer garment: dresses. They're beautiful , they almost make a whole outfit & above all, they're fresh. I can't ask for more. El verano ya volvió y con él, una vez más tengo que mostrar mi amor por los vestidos de verano. Y es que estar casi lista con una sola prenda y a la vez fresquita, son dos ventajas insuperables.

This year I'm dying to add a beautifully patterned dress to my closet. Florals are always a good option, but I feel that I already have enough floral dresses, if that's possible. I think polka dots or/and graphics could be a nice idea. Este verano tengo ganas de un vestido estampado. Las flores son siempre una buena opción, pero mi armario ya está lleno de ellas, así que supongo que buscare algo con lunares o un estampado gráfico. A ver que cae.

But, for me the good thing about summer dresses is that they last several seasons. I mean, if you are not a  strict trends follower & you don't buy something which is so in fashion (which means, it'll be soon so out of fashion) they should last some years. Para mí, una de las mejores cosas sobre los vestidos de verano es su intemporabilidad. Es decir, si no te compras ese estampado/corte que es tan tendencia, pero se pasará de moda en medio minuto, estos vestidos te pueden servir para varios veranos.

The Gates of Hell

This large hole in Derweze, Turmenistan's dessert is a fascinating place I want to visit someday. Its origin story is hard to believe. In 1971, a group of geologists found a cavern filled with natural gas. But, it collapsed, leaving a huge hole as a result. So, they decide to burn it off to about poisonous gas discharge. Bad thing, the fire didn't last a few days like they thought. It is still burning today. Este enorme agujero de fuego en Derweze, en pleno desierto de Turmenistan es un lugar fascinante que quisiera conocer algún día. Su origen es bastante curioso. En 1.971 mientras se perforaba una bolsa de gas natural, hubo un derrumbamiento que dio lugar al agujero. A alguien se le ocurrió que si prendían fuego, el gas se consumiría en unos días. Pero, a día de hoy sigue ardiendo.

"El miedo y la vergüenza me paralizaban. Pensaba que era algo muy arriesgado.
